Step 1:
If you have NinjaTrader running, close it now.
Step 2:
Run Setup.exe
Step 3:
Ensure TheStrategicTrader.dll is now in your NinjaTrader 7/bin/custom folder. If it is not, go to the newly installed folder (c:\TheStrategicTrader) and copy TheStrategicTrader.dll into NinjaTrader 7/bin/custom folder.
Step 4:
Once the dll is in the appropriate folder, open NinjaTrader. Then import a pattern strategy into NinjaTrader: Test Strategy
Step 5:
Open the strategy “thestrategictrader”. Right click, and chose “References”. Then add TheStrategicTrader.dll as a reference. Finally restart Ninjatrader, you should then be able to use the sample strategy.
